Hitting Towel
This tool was designed for hitting pillows, beds, soft furniture, punching bags, and similar strong surfaces as a safe way of expressing anger. Unlike our foam bats, it is very strong and flexible. Basically it is a sturdy, terry cloth towel sewn together, and fastened to a hand grip with a steel cable. The towel is encased in a heavy duty blue nylon cover. When hit on a hard surface it is very loud. Like the Pillow Pounder, it is strong enough to damage some chairs or other furniture, so please be careful! It must not be used on people or animals.The idea behind the Hitting Towel is a psychological technique knows as ventilation, which is a way of letting off steam without hurting anyone including you. With the Hitting Towel you can pound on a pillow, a bed, or soft furniture without becoming a danger to yourself or others. Because the Hitting Towel is flexible it can be used on round objects such as punching bags, since the Hitting Towel will bend to fit the shape of the object being hit.
